n the newest history of the manor house Allmoyen, visit of Traudl Weber – granddaughter of the prewar owners of the manor house – was a major event. In the summer of 2008 Traudl Weber visited Allmoyen with her two daughters. This visit evoked a lot of emotions. The sight of the manor house and the atmosphere there brought back memories from Traudl Weber’s childhood when she used to visit her grandmother, Marta Zuhlke. Traudl Weber found that the renovated manor house matches in many aspects the picture she remembers from her childhood. This visit resulted in friendship. Nowadays Traudl Weber provides us with old photos of the manor house, memories, her grandmother’s recipes and other significant information concerning life in the manor house. The album "Allmoyen. Trip from 28th July to 4th August 2008" is a memento of this visit.
